The Autumn 2012 ICORN board meeting in Krakow

On Monday 11 and Tuesday 12 November, the ICORN Board convenes in Krakow for its first meeting since the members were elected by the ICORN member city delegates at the General Assembly in Stockholm 9-11 May 2012. Additional to the items concerning status updates on writer applications, member cities developments and financial results, the Board will undertake a long term strategy discussion on how ICORN should develop towards the year 2020.

An important reason for the Board to convene in Krakow is that a major meeting item will be planning the ICORN network meeting for 2013, which will be organised jointly with PEN International's Writers in Prison Committee in Krakow from 14-16 May 2013.

The present ICORN Board, elected for the period 2012 - 2014, consists of Peter Ripken (Frankfurt; Chair), Dagny Anker Gevelt (Kristiansand; Vice Chair), Jasmina Arambasic (Ljubljana; board member), Annika Strömberg (Uppsala; board member) and Chris Gribble (Norwich; board member).
