New children's book from ICORN guest writer Tendai Frank Tagarira
Tendai Frank Tagarira was invited to Aarhus, Denmark, in 2010 as the city's first guest writer. He was born in 1983 in Zimbabwe. After publishing his first book Trying to make sense of it in 2009 he was forced to flee the country. The story now published is the first he wrote after he arrived. Tagarira has written over 20 books, he writes for Copenhagen Post and he also has a blog. The book is translated and illustrated by Lone Hedegaard.
Aarhus is the European Capital of Culture in 2017 under the slogan Rethink, and has declared that they will continue as a city of refuge for persecuted writers within the frames of Capital of Culture programme.
