Palma de Mallorca becomes ICORN City of Refuge

Helge Lunde, executive director of the ICORN Administration Center, attended the signing seremony in Palma de Mallorca along with the city's Mayor, Aina Calvo Sastre, and Raffaella Salierno of PEN Catala. Salierno and PEN Catala are already in charge of Barcelona City of Refuge and will work closely with Palma de Mallorca as the city establishes itself as a City of Refuge.
After the official signing seremony, there will be a literary evening program where former ICORN Guest Writer Chenjerai Hove from Zimbabwe will be reading, as well as Mallorcan poets Antònia Vicens, Miquel Àngel Llauger, Sebastià Perelló, and Biel Florit.
