Uppsala announces Spring 2012 Literary Programme

Uppsala has a very active literary community and the city's Literature Centre recently has released its upcoming programmes and events. ICORN Guest Writer Anisur Rahman is on the planning committee and participates heavily in the activities. 21 February: In celebration of International Mother Tongue Day, there will be a Six Seasons Poetry Festival at Theatre Blanca.

12 April-10 May: Anisur Rahman leads writers' workshops at the Uppsala City Library every Thursday at 17.00.

10 May: Literary Spring Festival in honour of August Strindberg, taking place from Uppsala City Library to City Hall

5 June: Nature Poetry Festival at Biotopia
