Hillerød Municipality joined ICORN in 2021. The city prides itself on making a difference in the fight for freedom of expression for writers, artists, and journalists in the context of increasing restrictions of free speech and deteriorating democracy across the world.
Hillerød welcomed its first ICORN resident in 2021, a video journalist and press-photographer from Belarus.
