Ieva Paberžytė
Ieva Paberžytė started working with ICORN as Protection Consultant in November 2021, following the crisis in Afghanistan. Ieva’s main responsibilities include assisting the processing of requests and applications for the ICORN residency programme. In addition to this, Ieva is engaged in the recruitment of new member cities to ICORN and the organisation and coordination of events such as the annual ICORN meetings.
Ieva holds a PhD in Social Anthropology from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Her research primarily focused on marginalised groups, Indigenous peoples, and the impact of processes of colonisation and medicalisation.
